Student astronomer from India — building Open Horizon Observatory, an open-access platform giving every student real telescope data for scientific research.
View ProjectsAbout
I'm a 15-year-old student from India interested in astronomy, space science, and engineering.
I learn primarily through independent study, amateur astronomy, and hands-on experimentation.
I'm currently building Open Horizon Observatory, an open-access astronomical observing platform supported by Emergent Ventures.
My goal is to make real scientific data more accessible to students.
Projects
Open Horizon Observatory
An open-access astronomical observing platform designed to give students access to real telescope data for time-domain astronomy and student-led research.
Initial pilot supported by Emergent Ventures.
PRELUDE
PRELUDE (Pre-Luminous Unstable Detection Experiment) is designed to study subtle optical instabilities in stars before major outbursts such as supernovae, novae, luminous blue variable eruptions, and cataclysmic variable events.
Instead of detecting explosions after they occur, PRELUDE will monitor a fixed set of nearby, star-forming galaxies nightly to identify early, low-amplitude variability. Even null results will be scientifically valuable.
PRELUDE is intended to operate using the same open infrastructure and data-access principles as the broader platform, allowing students to directly participate in time-domain astronomy and data analysis.
